When I built Race RGB, I started with LIFX because that's what I had in my apartment. Then everyone asked about Philips Hue, so I added that. Now we support Govee too, and I'm getting requests for Nanoleaf and even some niche brands.
The truth is, every smart light ecosystem has its own API quirks. Some are well-documented (LIFX, Hue, Govee), others... not so much. But I'm committed to supporting as many as possible because the more people can use Race RGB, the better.

What's next?
Nanoleaf is still the most requested integration, and it's still not done. Their panels pair by a physical button press rather than an account sign-in, which makes a setup flow that works for everyone (especially in the browser) harder than Hue, LIFX or Govee were. I'd rather ship it properly than put another date on it.
