What is Race RGB?
Race RGB syncs your smart lights with live F1 race broadcasts. When flag conditions change during a race (green, yellow, red flags, safety car, etc.), your lights automatically change color to match, creating an immersive racing experience at home.
How do I get started?
1. Sign up for a free trial 2. Go to Settings and connect your smart lights 3. Select which lights you want to control 4. Set your broadcast delay 5. When a session starts, click 'Connect' in Track Mode
What do I need to use Race RGB?
You need: 1. LIFX smart lights OR Philips Hue lights OR Govee lights 2. A stable internet connection 3. Access to F1 broadcasts (TV or streaming) 4. A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) For Philips Hue users: You can use either the local Hue Bridge (requires desktop app) or the new Hue Remote API (works in browser). For Govee users: You need a free API key from the Govee Developer Portal. Tip: the Race RGB desktop app (Windows and macOS, included with the Season Pass) keeps your lights synced in the background with no tab to keep open. In a plain browser, keep the Race RGB tab open during a session for continuous sync.
Get the desktop app
Included with any Season Pass, the Race RGB desktop app (Windows and macOS) controls your lights over your local network for instant reactions and keeps syncing in the background, so there's no browser tab to keep open during a race.
Key benefits
• Instant local (LAN) light control for Hue, Govee & LIFX
• Keeps syncing in the background, no tab to babysit
• Unlocks the MultiViewer (F1MV) integration
• Updates itself automatically
