Born into F1
I grew up with Formula 1 playing in the background from the moment I was born. My earliest memory is the Imola Grand Prix. My dad shouting at the TV because David Coulthard couldn't get past Schumacher.
First race in Barcelona
My first live race was the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Catalunya. I still have the programme today. I'll never forget watching a Jaguar spin off right in front of me, the sound, the chaos, the adrenaline.
Living in Australia
I've never missed a race. No matter the time zone, I watch every Grand Prix live. But I wanted more than just watching, I wanted immersion that's not sitting at a PC with a multiviewer, but on the couch, with a beer, feeling the atmosphere of the track at home.
The birth of Race RGB
Surrounded by smart lights and armed with some modest coding skills, I built Race RGB: a platform that syncs your smart lighting with live F1 events. Green flags, yellows, safety cars, chequered flag, the room lights up like the track.
