Sync Philips Hue with live F1 race flags

Race RGB turns your Philips Hue lights into a live timing wall. When a yellow, red, safety car or chequered flag waves on track, your room reacts instantly.

Available nowSetup in 3 minutes

If you already own Philips Hue, you have everything you need to feel every flag of an F1 weekend. Race RGB connects to your Hue Bridge and drives your existing bulbs, strips and play bars in sync with the live race broadcast.

No new hardware, no soldering, no fiddly scripts. Connect once, pick the lights you want involved, and Race RGB handles the rest for every session of the season.

How it works with Philips Hue

1

Create your Race RGB account

Sign up and open Settings, then Light Control.

2

Connect your Hue Bridge

Press the button on your Hue Bridge to authorize Race RGB, the same one-tap pairing you use for the Hue app.

3

Pick your lights

Choose which Hue bulbs, strips or rooms should react to the flags. Leave the rest of your house alone.

4

Watch the race

Race RGB listens to the live timing feed and flashes your Hue lights the moment a flag changes on track.

Philips Hue F1 questions

Do I need a Hue Bridge?

Yes. Race RGB talks to your lights through the Philips Hue Bridge, the same hub the official Hue app uses. Bluetooth-only bulbs without a Bridge are not supported.

Does it work with the new race in real time?

Yes. Race RGB follows the live timing feed, so yellow, red, safety car, virtual safety car and chequered flags trigger your lights as they happen during the broadcast.

Can I choose which lights react?

Absolutely. You pick exactly which Hue bulbs, strips or rooms take part, so the rest of your home stays normal.

Will it mess up my normal Hue scenes?

No. Race RGB only controls your lights while a session is live, then hands them back. Your everyday scenes and automations are untouched.
